Core Concepts
What is existing data?
Existing data, also called secondary data, is information that has already been collected by researchers, organizations, government agencies, or other institutions for a previous study or purpose. In Research Assistant – Existing Data, you analyze these existing datasets to answer a new research question instead of gathering new data yourself through surveys, interviews, or experiments.
